The International Health Observatory Onlus – OIS, part of the Frontier Health Project, is organizing an ECM course entitled Health and migration: curing and caring”, which will take place from 20 to 23 February 2018 in Rome, at the Italian Red Cross in via Ramazzini, 31.
The course includes 4 days of residential training, with the presence of teachers from some of the most relevant organizations operating in the sectors of migration, medicine, psychology and cultural mediation.
The course is divided into 4 training sessions and a total of 24.9 ECM*.
The maximum number of participants is 40.
Participation in the course is free. The costs of transport, board and lodging are to be paid by the participants.

Multiculturalism and culture of reception in health activity.
Second Macro Area Process training objectives.
The course is open to the following professional categories:
- Physicians (all disciplines)
- Nurse (Nurse)
- Pediatric Nurse (Pediatric Nurse)
- Psychologist (Psychotherapy, Psychology)
The following requirements are prerequisites of precedence and preference:
- having served, or currently serving, at one or more Extraordinary Reception Centers – CAS
- having carried out professional or voluntary activities in the field of immigration
- interest in carrying out professional or voluntary activities in the field of immigration
For all registration requests will be examined on a first come, first served basis.
PROCEDURES FOR ENROLLMENT
To take part in the course applications must DOWNLOAD, COMPLETE AND SIGN THE ENROLLMENT FORM and send it to the event’s Organizing Secretariat (FORMAZIONE@OSSERVATORIO-OIS.COM) by and no later than 30/01/2018.
Enrollment will be formally acknowledged by communication, by the Organizing Secretariat, to those who are selected.
On this occasion all information useful for participation will be provided.
